Garlic chicken is a typical recipe of our kitchen, it is a popular dish that is easy and quick to prepare, with very few ingredients and in half an hour it will be cooked.
1 chicken cut into eighths
1 head of garlic
200ml white wine
salt, ground black pepper
1 teaspoon flour
water or broth only if necessary so that it does not remain dry.
First we are going to prepare the chicken, season it. While we put on the fire a pan with oil.
Crush the garlic with the skin on and cut them in the middle with a knife.
Add them to the oil and fry them for a few minutes to soften them a little.
Before the garlic begins to toast, remove it and set aside on a plate.
Add the chicken to the casserole dish, cover and fry it, turning it around, and when it is ready, put it aside on a plate.
Remove the excess oil from the pan so that it is not too oily, just enough.
Add a teaspoon of flour and fry for a couple of minutes.
Now it is time to add the reserved chicken back to the casserole, and the same with the garlic, adding it along with the chicken.
Add the white wine and cook everything together.
Add chopped parsley and cook the chicken, it will be ready in about 10 minutes or so if it is a little dry we can add water or broth.
Once tender, turn off the heat and all that remains is to plate the chicken and garlic with a little sauce on top.
